Ron Kelley Jr., or “Ronnie” to his friends, was born and raised in Nashville. From an early age growing up on the south side of town, Ron knew he wanted to live and work in Nashville, that his calling was one of entrepreneurship and community involvement. As a young man, Ron worked in a variety of fields. He owned several businesses, with each successive year and each new business further fueling a desire to serve, give back to his hometown, and create a robust company that would be seen as the premier luxury home developer in Middle Tennessee.

A Culture of Service is Core to RK Junior LLC

Ron launched RK Junior LLC in 2011 when he was just 24 years old. Within a few years, Ron’s company went from remodeling properties to designing and building stunning multi-million dollar luxury custom homes. When asked how Ron managed to scale his company so quickly, he reflects that the culture of service at RK Junior is what put them ahead. The company’s values are to work closely with clients, to understand that a client’s custom home is likely the largest financial investment of their life, and that designing and building a unique home is a life-changing experience and should be treated as such.

However, Ron’s commitment to lead a life of service does not end when he clocks out for the day. Committed to giving back to the community that took care of him in his youth, Ron is deeply involved in several Nashville nonprofits, volunteer organizations, church groups, and community action funds. From personally volunteering on the weekends to sitting on the boards of some of Nashville’s most acclaimed institutions, Ron believes that his life’s work is in his service to others, whether it's the valued clients he designs and builds luxury custom homes for or whether it's the youths and at-risk community members he mentors and sponsors.

Nashville is Heart, Home, and the Future

Ron is one of few individuals who can truly say he’s a Nashville local. In his own words, “I was born in Nashville in 1986, I’ve lived here all my life, so I knew Nashville before it was NASHVILLE.” With that in mind, Ron has been thrilled to watch Nashville grow, to observe the many evolutions the city has gone through to make it the Athens of the South that it is today.
